We are looking for an Executive Advisor - Infrastructure Strategy and Economics to enhance GHD Advisory's market presence and deliver invaluable strategic insights to our clients. This crucial role involves shaping infrastructure investment decisions, advising on economic frameworks, and navigating clients through complex commercial and strategic challenges.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior executives and client leadership teams, offering board-level advisory services supported by your deep expertise in economics, market trends, and strategic planning. This position is versatile and can be performed at any GHD office within the US.

The role offers a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Strategic Advisory: Lead high-level economic and strategic engagements for infrastructure clients, focusing on market entry, investment prioritization, and commercial structuring.
- Client Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders, providing insights that shape long-term business and policy decisions.
- Thought Leadership: Represent GHD at industry forums, publish insights on infrastructure economics and strategy, and influence market discussions.
- Market Development: Drive growth by identifying emerging trends, building strategic partnerships, and expanding GHD Advisory’s presence in key sectors.
- Commercial Strategy: Oversee the development of business cases, economic impact assessments, and strategic options analysis for high-profile projects.
- Capability Building: Mentor senior consultants while enhancing organizational expertise in economics and strategy.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with top-tier clients, ensuring exceptional value delivery and repeat engagements.
- Corporate Social Responsibility/Integrity: Manage the development of strategic corporate social responsibility policies and services.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders at all levels, proactively addressing their needs and concerns by leading the development of engagement plans.
- Leadership and Direction: Define and communicate strategy, driving the organization’s mission, vision, and values; inspire a diverse workforce to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
- Performance Management: Monitor and report on performance, set objectives for direct reports, and take corrective actions to meet business goals.
- Business Planning: Lead the development of annual and long-term business plans for significant functions, ensuring alignment with strategy and resource allocation.
- Strategy Formation and Implementation: Develop and implement strategies for significant areas of responsibility in anticipation of complex challenges.
- Corporate Strategy Shaping: Engage in developing the corporate strategy for local organizations, applying functional expertise to assess viability and contribute creative insights.
- Functional Strategy Formation: Lead strategy development for significant areas, ensuring integration with corporate strategy and addressing potential challenges.
Education:
- Master's Degree or Equivalent Level
Experience:
- 15+ years in infrastructure economics, strategy consulting, or commercial advisory.
- Demonstrated expertise advising executive leadership and boards on strategic initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure markets, regulatory frameworks, and investment dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the highest levels.

Salary Range: $161,000-$269,000 based on location and experience.
