Well established 176 bed Medical Center is seeking a General Orthopedic Surgeon who can join full-time or work on a locum's basis starting immediately. This opportunity is located in Central AL and only 30-45 miles from Birmingham.

If you want to be the only Orthopedic in town and not be in such a competitive market, then this position is for you!

The immediate need is to replace a 12 year veteran who is relocating due to personal reasons.

The medical center is offering an employed position or open to all models

Solo practice - previous surgeon typically scheduled 2 days a week for surgeries, which averaged approximately 35-40|month.

We are not looking for robotics, just a general "bread & butter" orthopedic surgeon. The candidate will have full autonomy and can run the office | schedule as he|she sees fit. The medical center does require call for the ED, which is limited to 10 days|mo.
