We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior IRIS Operations Specialist to join our team, providing critical administrative support for the Wisconsin IRIS program. This role is essential in managing referrals, enrollments, eligibility, service authorization, and other key administrative functions within the program. Your contributions will help us deliver quality, cost-effective care to our participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer senior-level support to both operations and field staff in managing participant referrals, enrollments, disenrollments, workload assignments, and ongoing eligibility assessments.
  • Conduct welcome calls, manage prior authorizations, and facilitate individualized service plan activities, ensuring smooth administrative operations.
  • Provide skilled assistance with data entry and tracking using DHS information systems, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Respond promptly to email inquiries from coworkers, providers, and partner agencies, enhancing communication and collaboration.
  • Manage phone queues, assisting with both outgoing and incoming calls, ensuring efficient communication lines.
  • Analyze data and workflows, proposing improvements and assisting in implementation, driving operational excellence.
  • Lead projects and engage in problem-solving initiatives to enhance processes within your areas of expertise.
  • Ensure high operational efficiency and compliance with IRIS program requirements in your assigned responsibilities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for other IRIS partners or providers as needed, fostering effective relationships.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with coworkers, clients, participants, providers, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative and/or health care experience, preferably working with adults with disabilities or older adults.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and quick to learn new tasks.
  • Ability to function both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs and challenges.
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office suite or similar software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Salary Range: $18.04 - $35.17 Hourly (compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills).
